REGIONAL MANAGER’S OFFICE- TAN ROADS KIGOMA JOB OPPORTUNITY JOB TITLE: CIVIL ROADS TECHINICIAN – 2 POSTS A. KEY QUALIFICATIONS: 1. The job holder must have a Ordinary Diploma in Civil/Highway Engineering OR Full Technician Certificate (FTC), from any recognised academic Institution. 2. Must be computer literate (knowledge of AUTOCAD will be added advantage). 3. Must be fluent in both written and spoken Swahili and English Language. 4. One year of experience in relevant field. 5. Age limit not above 35 years. 6. Must be a Tanzanian citizen. B. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Inspects and report on road and bridge maintenance works activities. 2. Measures and certifies works for payment. 3. Prepare and supervise monthly work programmers for petty contractors undertaking Routine and Recurrent, Periodic and Emergency maintenance works as directed by Engineer. 4. Supervise bridge maintenance works as directed by Engineer. 5. Certifies worksheets, delivery notes and similar documentation as directed by Engineer. 6. Prepare reports for Engineer as required 7. Perform such other related duties as may assigned by Engineer from time to time.
